Debt Advice Figures

THE COUNTY of Denbighshire is the UK’s biggest debt hotspot according to figures compiled by the Citizen’s Advice Bureau.
According to the report, which analysed calls to CAB for help with debt, problems with consumer debt such as credit cards and personal loans had fallen significantly while priority debts such as rent arrears and council tax are growing.



THE number of insolvencies in the Vale of Clwyd is the highest in the whole of England and Wales according to recent figures.
As an update to a report published in 2013, the Insolvency has recently provided the figures for the number of insolvencies by constituency at with 279 new cases in 2013 – 49.3 per 10,000 adult population - the Vale of Clwyd found itself at the top of the table
