Shadow Minister visit

VALE of Clwyd families and individuals who have been hit by the Bedroom Tax have been promised it will be scrapped if Labour comes to power.
Speaking following a visit to the constituency Labour’s Shadow Minister for Welfare Reform Helen Goodman MP said: “The government has imposed the Bedroom Tax on families who are already hard pressed to make ends meet.

Business rates meeting follow up

AROUND 30 town centre businesses in Rhyl took the opportunity to recently to speak to the Chief Valuer Wales and Valuation Officer about business rates in the town.
Arranged by Vale of Clwyd MP Chris Ruane, Richie Roberts of the Valuation Office attended the meeting on February 26 at Rhyl Town Hall to discuss proposals to reduce business rates for some businesses in the town centre by a further 7.5 per cent.
