Flood insurance meeting

A TOP level meeting to discuss the impact of flooding in the Vale of Clwyd took place in the House of Commons recently.
Local MP Chris Ruane met with RSA Insurance Group to discuss how the insurer is working to get those affected back into their homes as quickly as possible.

Wind farm cables petition

OVER 500 people have added their name to a petition calling for electricity cables from a wind farm to a sub-station to be placed underground.
The petition, circulated by Vale of Clwyd MP Chris Ruane, relates to the proposal for cables from wind farms up on the Denbigh Moors to be placed above ground down to a sub-station near St Asaph – a distance of around 17 miles.
